In keeping with the Island’s tradition of unforgettable dining, Brian and Jodi Harsany have created the perfect coffee and dessert spot. Their goal was to provide guests the opportunity to drink locally roasted coffee and eat made from scratch sweets and savories. BuzzCatz is just that.
Chef Kimberly Asbury, Pastry Chef and General Manager, has been working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years from small bagel shops and pizza places to fine dining Italian restaurants. Much of her knowledge has been gained through hands-on experience, but in 2003 she graduated from Penn College with a degree in baking and pastry. While there she graduated at the top of her class earning the John Folse Award of Excellence. Her greatest joy is “making anything that people truly enjoy.”
Chef Juanita Hendrix, Sous Chef and Manager, has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years from fast food restaurants to fine dining, but her love has always been baking. Here at BuzzCatz she enjoys making people happy with her sweet treat and her favorite expression is to “throw some sprinkles on it at call it a day!”
